Hello! Nice to meet you here! I am Tiina; born and raised in Eastern Finland, then - after a few stopovers around Europe - since 2005 living in Switzerland.

 

I turned my digital camera to manual mode about 10 years ago. To deepen my craft, I completed  a CAS in photography in 2021. Since then I have not only worked as a freelance communication specialist and doctoral reseacher, but also as a photographer.

 

My background in cultural studies and history draws me towards reportage and portraiture in photography. What fascinates me the most, are people, their uniqueness, and their personal stories. The perfect portrait is a mirror for the emotions that live inside of all of us and connects us all. That is what I strive to capture.

 

What I also hope, is that my style manages to reflect the magical, timeless and atmospheric of everyday life and people.
